History
The basis for BORN Sportscare B.V. was laid in 1985. The first developed product concepts caused a true revolution in the field of sports care and sports nutrition. Finally there was an alternative for baby food in water bottles! The man behind these developments was Drs. Wim Jennen (1957-2005). As a newly graduated pharmacist he was able to combine knowledge and skills with practice: he was a more than meritorious cyclist (including a silver medal at the Universiade of Edmonton in 1983 and member of the famous Amstel team) and had the knowledge to develop products that were fully adapted to a sports body. Performance of the product and of the athlete go hand in hand. Result: BORN provides more sporting fun! We guarantee the best quality of our end product. BORN uses strict quality standards for the production of both product lines. All products are therefore produced in the Netherlands.
When developing products, great importance is attached not only to effectiveness but also to ease of use. Bars must be easy to swallow, gels easy to drink and sports drinks must be well tolerated by the stomach and may not be too sweet.
Important in our philosophy is that the athlete can count on honest and good advice regarding the use of sports nutrition and sports care products.
