Our boundless appetite for new flavors and over a hundred years of experience in meat snacks has led to the development of our own unique biltong marinade with an authentic South African flavor.
We use only 100% quality beef. The meat is seasoned according to our special family recipe with carefully selected ingredients. Then, according to South African tradition, the beef strips are slowly air-dried and cut into thin slices. Biltong is high in protein and low in sugar. It takes 250 grams of beef to make 100 grams of biltong!
How is it different from Jack Link's beef jerky?
Both meat snacks are made from 100% lean beef, but beef jerky and biltong differ in taste and texture. Jerky is always smoked and is sweeter in flavor, while biltong is never smoked and is prepared with alcohol vinegar. Biltong also has a longer drying time. Taste for yourself!
